It is from the GFS ensemble model, and if you monitor it daily you will be able to get a feel for the movement of the jetstream, and also consistency between the various model runs.

Sorry if this has been asked before,but does the "Jetstream Circle " the globe thereby partly controlling the weather around the world. How long have records been kept for the position of the Jetstream , seems strange that it has suddenly started to move North or South from where it usually is.
