The most rubbish machine ever used

So, after enduring what seemed like an eternity pushing up silage with a worn out fork recently, I caught myself speaking aloud "Well that's a rubbish implement".

Such a simple item, and such a terrible thing to use when it's not right.

It made me wonder, what is the worst ever piece of machinery ever used? It can be anything, outdoor clothing, hand-tools, right up to a recent machine.

Surely by the no of haybobs sold yearly they can't be that useless

Those that think Haybobs are rubbish should be made to go and turn hay with whatever preceded them. About every farm had one in the 1980's consigning the cock pheasant, Massey Harris turner and Lely acrobat to gap filling duties in the nearest hedge.
Wouldn't have been so many sold or so many copycats made to this day if they were that hopeless.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
