Retirement is great, isn't it?
Retirement is bloody hard work. Lambing. Searching for fert and seed that should have been delivered 3 weeks ago. Oh and the weather, Lambing storm, had to come after mildest and driest Feb and March. On the brighter side as long as ewes pop them out and lambs mostly suck without help, and we seem to have got over recent Covid without too serious suffering, then its a plus plus plus.

Fair enough, so long since I did any ploughing I'd forgotten the joys of it. I was thinking with my current pp hat on, and all that came up was fencing, which seemed odd there.

something broke on the contractors mower if I remember, and we helped him sort it, hammer got left behind.
Ah... I found a contractor's flask in the middle of a field a few years ago.

I could have written that whole scenario over the past 3 weeks except we got the fertiliser. 2 outside lambs with joint ill and a cow aborted a calf today.
