There was a Roadless 118 on eBay, some 6 years ago. It had a broken tombstone. Does anyone know who bought it? I was so close to buying it... but £8,600 (or thereabouts) was all the money I had in the world, then... so I bottled it.

Wish I had bought it.

Discussing Leyland 285's with my new tanker driver this morning, he's a vintage Leyland collector and has one,we had one 20yrs ago and was a glorious thing when she went well, sadly this was only for about 3 days at a time but each to his own.. A real game changer around these parts was the Ford 7000..John Deere's were very rare in these parts and MF and DB/IH didn't really have something to compete for a few years..
