Getting a load ready for market, reversed the Disco having forgotten I had opened up a hurdle across the road as a funnel to back up to.. Result, ebay search for a new rear light cluster.
That sheep's wound is healing nicely another couple of weeks and you'll barely know it had mastitis except it'll be missing half its udder. Nature is marvelous at what it can do.Sorry, arable farmers don't understand? Is the ewe dead and this is a post mortem? If not it needs putting out of its misery.
Picking up a wee stick welder from Screwfix today. Been watching some YouTube videos. How hard can it be?!

I agree that amount of pain involved in that would be off the scale and she is hardly ever going to be able to feed twins any sense again.
Don't say it's not got power steering as well as the wrong gearbox ...........Driving my new telehandler and managed to snap the hinges off a gate. Hinges were welded to a stanchion.
I can't weld ???
I will contribute on behalf of the captain of this ship. He lost 40 containers which is bad enough but it is reported at least one of them had masks etc needed for medical PPE.

He's a stockman like me, neither of us could probably find a grease gun even with a Cummings eye test assessment behind usThe gear lever took a while, but surely even @unlacedgecko can manage to find the steering wheel.

Not disagreeing with you about the course of treatment, but I've never known a black udder ewe get maggots in her wound. Amazing how they heal. And presuming they get past the initial infection stage, it doesn't seem to trouble them much at all.She would never feed twins again, even if she was to ever see a ram.
If I get a ewe like that (& we all do occasionally), I would give antibiotics, pain relief and fly cover before letting her run for a month or two. I would also mark her, as otherwise she would be difficult to pick out from the flock within a week or two.
