A mate's daughter has EB, but not that severe.
I was grottling around in the field this afternoon when this flew over. I know it is not a very good pic of a chinook, but you try taking out your mobile from a secure pocket with muddy gloves!

He swung round and went straight over me, probably thinking I was stuck, but the downdraft and the chopping of the air was quite exhilarating. By the time he flew off, I had sunk quite a few inches!
The noisy oneThat's just the latest Mark 3 broomstick!
I like a Chinook sound too but we get 10 a day sometimes in twos and 4s, they annoy the stock a bit when they slow down ready to approach the firing ranges. Apache Longbows - even more of them about, are just as disruptive especially when they hover for ages, a mate had several acres of barley lodged severely the other year by a low level Lynx that seem to practice going under HT wires on the local pylons.I love a Chinook. We don’t see them very often round here, but more often right down in south Warwickshire and Oxfordshire.
I like that moment when you first hear that distinctive engine thud in the distance, then it seems to disappear and you think “maybe not”, then a few seconds later it’s unmistakable.
Quite cuteOur new kitten has taken to sunbathing in the wooden fruit bowl . View attachment 600246 [emoji85]
