My niece, not being able to cope with not having a phone, since she lost it on holiday! In her early twenties and can’t comprehend life without access to internet etc.
I just find it all hilarious tbh

I know most of us would find it hard, I’m posting this from my phone, but honestly, life was much simpler before all this modern tech, and to think that life is impossible without it is ridiculous!

Watching foreigners confronted with a buffet English breakfast.
I've just got back from having to spend a few nights in a hotel in Edinburgh, which is obviously very popular with the coach tours. Chinese in particular (hundreds of them at a time!) and a lot of Spanish too.
I could just as easily put this into the 'Grinds my gears' thread about their manners, but I just want to remember smiling at their unused breakfast combinations.
Reactions to the haggis and black pudding are good, but the best one this morning was the little fellow who poured a big scoop of baked beans over his two croissants on his plate!

Perhaps mobile phones should be taxed! 1P per text or call would wipe out the national debt in a week!

No offence JP1 but I think 90% of people reactions when the see a convertible in this Country can be summed up as follows:

Tosser/Pratt/Silly old fool/Mid life Crisis

Yes and what’s wrong with that, I’m about to have my second mid life crisis and buy a convertible,
So does that make me a tosser, or a Pratt, or a silly old fool,

Each to their own, wan—r

He's a great Dad and quite uber cool and understated (unlike his Brother:rolleyes:)

He works very long hours and darned hard. I thought originally he was looking for an MGA like his wedding car that he hired for himself but he came back with this

Quite an honour taking the younger of his two to her school Prom and the end of all the school runs etc

Good on him

Littlest boy gets upset when his dinner is too hot to eat, takes it personally, despite being told to just wait. So tonight after he’d left the room sobbing, he returned with an electric bubble gun (who knew such a thing existed?) and proceeded to use it to blow cool air over his mince. He’s only 2 and was very pleased with himself .
