Morning, any idea where to sell a tired 09 Ford ranger?? Needs battery, exhaust, electric fault t rear lights been excellent truck till these last few weeks where it’s decided to fail on too many things!! tia

The faults you describe are not serious or expensive to rectify for a DIY enthusiast

Is it worth more than the cost for a professional repair?

Try your local paper, but the add may cost. There’s various web sites around like ‘swap me’ or similar where people try to sell the unsellable. There’s always the scrap merchant of course, where many such vehicles are recycled.
It probably depends on the condition of the rest of it but unless regularly maintained I suspect that at this age the chassis might be as much oxide as iron. If good for a few more years it should find a home.

Man fined £300 for bonfire-related waste offences

A man has pleaded guilty at Newtownards Magistrates’ Court to waste offences relating to a bonfire next to the electrical sub-station on the Circular Road in Newtownards, Co. Down.

Gareth Gill (51) of Abbot’s Walk, Newtownards pleaded guilty to two charges under the Waste and Contaminated Land (Northern Ireland) Order 1997, for which he was fined £150 each and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy

On June 25, 2018, PSNI officers went to Gill’s yard, where they found a large amount of waste consisting of scrap wood, pallets, carpet and underlay.

Discussion with Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) officers confirmed the site...
