Retagging sows before they go on the new system, most didn't notice me cutting out the old transponders and putting in the new ones through the same hole whilst they were distracted by food.

Not often I need a wheelbarrow to move the tags around.

Bale of straw into the cow cubicles today. Bloody midi hestons! One day I will finish the cladding at the back of the shed. It's only been about 4 months since I put the doorway in at the back though:rolleyes::ROFLMAO:View attachment 755944

Bit of a catch up again for the week just gone, it’s that time of year when the first job in a morning is putting the heating on:rolleyes:

First job of the week was a 6930 with a broken A/B gear cable and a couple of electrical faults.

Easy end of the cable off. And If anyone is ever looking for the chassis active can-bus terminator on a 30 series it lives just here;)

Not so easy end of the cable lives behind the chassis rail and all this lot:facepalm:

Then tried getting the old lister engine going on the beet cleaner after been stood for a year, it wasn’t having any of it! Usually fired up first go as well:unsure:

Decided a service may be a little overdue:whistle::oops:!
Any, after new filters an oil change a blow torch in the inlet and three of us taking turns cranking it over:eek: it eventually came back to life:)(y)

Then had a day out at Lamma so that’s already been covered in other threads(y).

Also had a mate’s Ford/Nissan Turano thing in again for a pre mot inspection (it’s the one I platted all the chassis on last year!)
Anyway on closer inspection decided it’s to far gone this time:facepalm:

Other than that it’s been just loading beet(y)

Unbelievably dry and warm for January .
Been sorting a drainage problem today . Roots from the hedge and sand filled pipes even at this depth. Worn out now, but very pleasing when you get the water running again .only problem now is the water is struggling to get away where new houses have been built . Thanks to my landlords for that .
