How old is that tractor?

Mf 148 dragged out of the barn making a start on gutting her today,
It runs well with good oil pressure and no back pressure, there was a sticky valve or 2 and the thrust has worn away also the little end had an issue, basically a full rebuild and give the crank a polish.
Gearbox out and stripping it down empty the casting, clean then rebuild and reseal basically.
Found no major bodge up shenanigans considering it's exterior looks!!!
Next will be lifting the lift cover off the hydraulics and seeing to all that fun stuff....
The hydraulic system is in need of some adjustment and new parts it works but only just.
It had a homemade power steering system on it I've removed that and swapped the stub axles for the correct types to covert it back to manual as this a basic spec model.
Thanks for looking

In to the last field to plough this year. As the Fastrac is back on the sprayer, thought I’d finish of with the Ford and four furrow, having just finished the stony ground I use that plough for.
This field used to be ridge and furrow. Judging by how wet it is in places, maybe it still should be. Diff lock in and wheel-slip set at 25% to keep going in places.

Thankfully I'm avoiding that which is seen, but still finding the hidden and disposed ? I am such an optimist that I believe i will eventually get it all cleared up ?
Flail or hedge cutting is great for finding it that’s for sure ;) I pulled into a field yesterday didn’t even get 5 yards before finding a pile of rylock still attached to a rotting strainer post piled in the grass

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
