Decided to give the old girl a wash today, at least take away the "notes" that have been scrawled in the dust and grime on the panels for the past couple of years

Pop the last of the covers on, bodge the cab roof lining back up as the soundproofing foam has decided to disintegrate which I am putting down to getting the aircon working last year releasing some solvent stuff into the air which absolutely destroys foam.
No wonder I was happy combining last summer if there was a bit of help in the air to make the days go better!

Yes. They never ask who built it. Rural sheds where I am do not need council approval either.

My self propelled leek weeder seems to be working well. Unfortunately the built in nutrient applicator isn’t too precise yet.

Spent some time checking teeth and tits, then got the boys ready

I'm on light land and haven't started yet. Not holding a lot of hope out for a good harvest due to lack of rain.

Poor yield due to lack of rain. Crop very difficult to thresh and deawn. Straw has little colour. Bushel weight unknown as yet. Its my neighbours farm.
Moisture was 13%

About 140 ish first cut . Got about 74 down atm .... off the field sales completely gone though !

I did sell some off the field yesterday, I don't usually do it but her stable is next to the field and it was flat 8 straight in, paid electronically before I had finished baling the headland, a customer (new to the area) to be encouraged I think.

Still plenty of old season left but panic setting in with some customers as the grass round here is wilting and disappearing.
