With the cold and rain in recent days I've decided to treat our 3 outwintered stores to a roof.
I opened the 4 field gates back to the yard and within an hour they were asking to go in with the new calved heifers.

They've cost almost nothing this winter yet, but need a bit more shape on them to sell well as stores on grass day.
The 6 blue heifers they've been with are a bit bigger and have been hogging the half bag of barley a day.

Replacing a compressor that runs the sow feeders - the blue one is onlt the emergency stand-in, the balck one is the same as the one it replaced which only lasted 5 years 
but had a slightly different foot pattern which meant that the anti-vibration mounts didn't fit properly

It’s a hire tanker but I do have it fairly regular,I like it a lot,rides nice on the road and dose everything I need it to,id recommend one

Ahh tidy job. I’ve never seen a slurryKat tanker before, and as we are on the lookout for a new one I’ll have to investigate.
Is it Riverlea that sells them or are they pure hispec?
He had 2 slurry Kat tankers and both are great,I found it dosent roll as much as the high spec on the road but still gives a good ride even on oir crap back roads. I think Riverlea are just high spec,I did have a major 2400 LGP which was also a good tanker. I don’t think there is a hell of a lot between the mid range tankers anymore,I wouldn’t be afraid to buy any of those 3 brands if I had enough tanker work to justify one
