Scrap heap challenge , old rapide been in neighbours yard had tree 5 inch diameter growing up side of elevator , don’t know how long it been parked , been oiling and spraying with diesel for last two weeks , dragged it out today geese round , and gingerly put pto in gear . Hey presto plenty squeaking , had to tighten slip clutch on web , lifted 15 ton this afternoon. . Some of beet too big to go up Opel wheels so hand ball 3 loader bucket full ,had to leave about acre in wet spot in a field 2 hours tommorow will have it

No green top ? . Local cattle man having them ,was more of a challenge ,to get old rapide going , as tulip man was taking pee that it would never go and 245 would not pull it ,so told him to put money on it ??little 245 struggles a bit for grip on the loose sand , and wheelies a bit , caught side of 12 ton trailer with elevator web last night , un clipped it self all on floor in seconds so an hour digging out and untangle it , got another trailer load to pick ,if it dies ,the cultivator and worms will have rest

Youngest son dragged the S1 out of the shed this eve and claimed it as his work truck for this wk ( don’t think he’s seen the weather yet) dropped it off at my house and asked if I would give it a check over . grand children are great you can have fun with them and when they get too much hand them back but don't forget to fill them up with sweeties so they get hyper, seriously congratulations! enjoy they are best when they start to walk and talk ;) (y)
