A rare perfect Saturday afternoon.

Six nations,a beer and a log burner.

Pity Wales are behind.

Nice walk along the Llangollen Canal. Not sure whether it felt safer on foot or on a boat a few years ago. Incredible bit of engineering finished the same year as the battle of Trafalgar.

Because it is a world heritage site or whatever and the railings are cast iron if any are unsafe and have to be re cast they have to fit in the same unsafe manner.:scratchhead::nailbiting:

View attachment 629860View attachment 629858 Been on with a few jobs at home. Ripped shitty old stinky dog carpet up courtesy of the previous owners :banghead: Tight arses hadn’t put any underlay down either (n)

Ripped old fecked gas heater off the wall, pulled flue out, bricked up and patched up. Cut pipe out and tidied up floor.

Took smelly old dog hair riddled curtains down and burned them :) Got rid of old skirting boards while I was at it.

Put underlay down, laminate floor, new skirting boards. Next job sort the fecking stupid light fitting, bit of filling, fettling and hiding the bodges  and decorate (y)
Underlay under laminate? Everydays a school day.

Went to find one of our pigs that had decided not to pig in one of the arks that we bought for her...

She had made a lovely nest, and had about 16 piglets.
I took her some straw and some food.

Went to YAMS
didn't take any photos.

Saw @Nearly @Drillman @Spud and someone I can't remember their forum name...

We've been given a JCB 3CII
Went to try and get it started to drive it back to the yard so we can low loader it home.
Had it cranking but not fast enough...

It hasn't moved for about 3 years.
