Ahh that's great , I will dig out the mag drill in question and get some ID off it and what I need, it's got a bent shaft iirc, but it's been a while since I've seen it:D it's around somewhere, too good to get rid of, just haven't got round to fixing it:rolleyes:....your post reminded me about it;)

Thanks(y)

Yes be sure too Brilliant bits of kit don't let it go to waste.

Thanks, Jack.

Looking to re-stock the workshop with nuts & bolts packs. Anyone any recommendations as to where I should try? Use spaldings currently but there kits don't go into bigger sizes etc.

Is there a shop local? I use Sterling bolt and nut co, in Peterborough which are local to us. Never beaten them on price anywhere else.

I just go to my local ironmongery/metal suppliers with a list.

Started of with the Spaldings packs and their bin boards. Each bin has a label - when I finish a size/bin I just turn the label around to the blank side.

When I remember I just take all these bin labels along and get refills. I've also added some extra bins for bolt sizes not originally supplied by Spaldings but which I use a lot of. Local shop gives me the 1000 bolt price for any that I buy.

Just bought Amtech stubby spanner set (10) on ebay for under £6 inc.postage.
Used already and didn't break when abused. Wanted a set with sequential 1mm sizes.
Very happy so far.
