It's from the same mould as the sweet little old lady who used to buy potatoes off me years ago.
I would take her a bag of spuds, for about £3, they were always "plenty of money", and then when I took some more about 3 mths later, she had saved the "pig taters" from the last bag, in a box, to show me.
They were a different variety, and had different coloured soil on them to the ones I had sold her.
I'm not particularly ashamed to admit that I told her she'd better get the buggers from elsewhere in future.
Dishonest is as Dishonest does. Plenty of folk out there are happy to cheat and swindle, but are up in arms if they get ripped off! They should apply "do unto others as you would have done to yourself "

Does anyone know of a good supplier of consumables like grinding discs and gasket sealant etc that you can buy online an be delivered to you? I always forget to buy them when doing the rounds but they arnt important enough to buy specially!
You could try Carpenter Goodwin Ltd at Leominster, they stock ABRACS range of abrasives. Matt

Don't know if it's good or bad, but they seem to have a following on here and it's just come through on a promotion.
Got one of these a few years back after (I think) a recommendation on this thread.

Stopped working under pressure so sent it back under their warranty scheme (3 years if registered with them at time of purchase), they picked it up and delivered back to me within 4 days and it's working fine again. From what I can gather it was basically service parts that were replaced rather than anything actually wrong so I have taken note of the part no.s so I can do it myself next time.

Very impressed with their service.

I'm fairly certain that it is possible to buy the diagnostic software from the dealers.

A new version of my tractor is circa £185,000. You're not going to run one of those for what it costs to run a 10 year old Fiesta

I don’t want to speak for everyone buts its rare to get a bill less than 2k from a dealer these days. Good luck trying to develop software to diagnose different manufactures, think it’s nigh on impossible to get into their systems.
glad we don't use your dealer!

Just wondering if Snap On spanners are the best, what is 2nd and 3rd on the list? Asking because i wanted to buy a new set of decent combination spanners but not at snap on prices.
