Yeah that's the way i normally do them but as you say a bench grinder can make them go bluecant beat a flap disc on an angle grinder, bench grinders will blue the end of the bit if you arent careful

I can't fault the service I've had from SGS over the years - always fast delivery & the one time something arrived damaged they sent replacement parts (also next day delivery) out purely on my word.View attachment 1004604

Top quality stuff thatTreat to myself for back of motor for when I get those quick jobs that doesn't need ever tool from the workshop in cantilever boxes. screwfix was cheapest I could find at £175 delivered which I thought was decent enough View attachment 1005102

If its anything like a milwaukee wrench it will be an animal of a thing and you ll wonder why you havnt always had 1.!eBay offering generous nectar point bonus on “Home and Garden” products this afternoon - 25/£ is equivalent to 12.5% discount and it goes into my pocket rather than the business.
Any thoughts on this pack? Seems very generously priced, but would it be the tool for wheel nuts on trailers etc. ? Never used an impact wrench but like the idea.

Sounds like it will suit me nicely. What sort of trailers? Ifor style car trailers, grain trailers or lorry trailers?
I've one of the above. Undone everything I've wanted so far. Making a lemkin furrow press narrower by removing the rings has been the biggest test. It has managed to do them all so far but struggled on a couple. Wheel studs on 8 ton grain trailer, laughs at it. Took some rim bolts off an ancient 13.6/36 rim. Hadn't been undone in at least 35 years. Rusted to hell. Took them off easy
Been very pleased with it.
