Top speed on massey 4355

So I have a 40k 24 speed powershuttle massey 4355.
The only problem is that I'm getting 30 ish k flat out top gear, hare.
The rear tyres are getting towards an upgrade, at about 15% , but would that be enough to slow it down so much?
Any ideas what to look at/for elsewhere?

It goes 18 by the clock.

Yes. They sold as 40k , has the 24 speed which I couldn't find a 30k option for online.

Have the 43's got a code to change to get the speed to read correct like the 62's have ?

Revved to 20 something, same as 1000 pto

mine goes to about 2300 revs and reads 23.7 mph
it may be that the speed clock isn't reading correctly, do you know how fast the tractor is actually going ? clock it with a sat nav perhaps

My 12x12 is 30k but gets to the dizzy speed of 27.3 . Sometimes 27.5 after a new fuel filter

Yes my brother in law has a 30k 4355. 18mph. Its painfully slow but its been a ridicoulously reliable tractor. He had a 40k 4365 that did 23mph flat out, that has gone as it was not the best.

I dont doubt it, that would probably explain it. And also means I don't need to fix it
