Tracker for a trailer?

The mrs mobileweld has purchased a fancy new horse trailer. I was wondering if there was any recommendations of a tracker suited to being fitted to a trailer? It’s locked behind a gate with a hitch lock on it aswell. But I like the idea of physically going to retrieve it if it does ever go missing.

Someone had the good idea of hiding sheep eid tags in the chassis/ behind panels, etc in another thread. That would enable you to confirm it was your trailer.
If it is mainly the thrill that will come from retrieving it that you seek, you could just dress up in your best country squire tweeds with a Tory rosette on your lapel, and walk into a proper working-men's club near you.
