Twin lamb disease ewe struggling stand

Have a ewe who had trips unfortunately lambs 2 and 3 were coming ou together when I found her, pushed one back in and then got them both out, nothing too violent but ewe didn't stand after, and wasn't standing when trying to lamb for that matter.

Given her calcium (bluetop calicject) metacam and over the past four days propylene glycol, or lifeaid or mvf twin lamb drench. She has appetite and perky but when she stands her hind legs cross and she trips herself up. She's going backwards now and will shoot if no ideas here.

So yeah when she stands she'll put one or other of her back legs over to the other side in front of the other. She does move a bit but then goes down again. I am sure if she was walking she'd be well on the way to recovery.

Also has a fairly bad scouring but not sure if that is the drenching. Any advice welcomed! Thanks ?

We had two like this a couple of years ago - one with huge lamb and one with trips but lost two. Both managed to lamb themselves. I thought TLD and gave them all the right stuff but scoured and would not get up and eat. My partner looked after them together in a big pen giving them feed, water and making sure the lambs fed. This went on for a while but both eventually right as rain. I suspected nerve damage.

Thanks guys, last night I was thinking could it be a dislocation but no major trauma that I am aware of and it seems to be alternate legs that crosses over at the back.

Nerve damage makes a lot of sense... Never had it before. I've got metacam and have been giving it to her. Very perky but not eating as much as I'd like. I think in part because she can only graze where she stumbles to.

The electrolyte solution has dextrose so will stick to diluted version of that in her water, it shouldn't cause acidosis. Done two doses of the twin lamb drench and will stop that.

Anything else should be doing, or is it now up to her, I've her outside the field where there is a fraction more grass and put some nice hay in front of her too.

I had a thin ill TLD ewe in F&M year so nothing could get vet attention. He suggested some calcium and find some fresh grass outside so at least it was nearer the burial hole. o_Oo_Oo_O
we carried it out to the lawn which was the only grass available. Next day it had disappeared and eventually traced in the wood next to the house with 2 live lambs.
