Two axle versus three axles.

Hi , I have a pottinger 7210 wagon on two axles , this model is very popular on three axles on the continent, are three axles better or worse for following around tight corners. Thinking of going to three axles, are they worth it. Pros and cons of both please.

As long as it’s got a steering axle on rear it should actually be more manouverable than tandem as pivot point which on a tri axle is centre axle will be closer to tractor as opposed to tandem axle where pivot point is between axles. In practice if rear steer on tandem axle there will not be much difference. Other points are tri axle will not transfer so much weight for traction

I’d want first and third axel steering and proper steering not just floating going forward

I know not the best advert, but look at the latest grassmen video with the smyth tri axle trailer with front and back steering axles. Looks to turn in well. Also steers in reverse as well.
