Umbilical cow slurry on stubble/ploughing/post sowing.

As the title, What are the pros and cons of applying cow slurry to ground destined for spring barley at different stages of cultivation? We pump it from a neighbours lagoon, quite watery, normally get it on stubbles end of feb ish and cover a lot of grassland too. This year for whatever reason it hasn't happened yet. We are in the process of ploughing out (about 60 acres) and I'm keen to get a start sowing as time is ticking on. I was planning to put some on top of the ploughing and straight in with the combi drill for max utilisation (lightish boys ground). But another delay means we might not be able to spread till the end of the week. If I crack on sowing tomorrow, would there be any issues of spreading on the sown ground post rolling? obviously might lift the odd stone, hopefully run on duals to reduce wheeling's.

All thoughts appreciated.

Edit, @Speedstar guessing you might have views on this and could suggest a few other guys to the discussion.

I don't see the problem with spreading it post drilling but you'd want low tyre pressures and have the seed well rolled in so the pipe wouldn't drag it up again. What kind of application rate are you thinking of? An inch of crust over the soil isn't good but an inch of watery fertiliser will help the crop.

I would test the slurry to see what the fertiliser value is so you can adjust your top dressing afterwards.
