It's a wear pad shim, could be from front or rear but most common to fall out is front lower pads.

2 fixing screws and one goes through a hollow top hat spacer that locates a thick steel plate approx 15 to 20mm in to the boom and then the pads studs go through it bottom out in the pad and nut on outside of boom holds it all tight.

Hollow tap hat spacer often falls out if the studs fall out. Then you can loose the wear pad and all shims and the thick metal spacer if unlucky.

Go round and check them all it's not really a good idea to use it with pads missing, can twist boom and if both fronts fall out you will rip all the internal boom hoses out so starts getting expensive then.
