Unlock Codes

One thing that annoys me more than anything is unlock codes... just had a quote to unlock an antenna to RTK for a touch under 4k.
We all used to acept the old research and development excuse but we have had RTK on our farm for over 10 years now... why are the codes still mind bogglingly expensive !
