Update x30

Eu tenho uma versão do software 3.17.704 AGCO, não consigo inserir uma versão mais recente no meu Topcon x30. Simplesmente não aceita uma nova versão. Alguma sugestão para resolver este problema?
I’m no expert when it comes to x30’s but I suspect if your trying to install AGCO firmware onto a Topcon screen (or vice versa) it may choke.

This was definitely the case with AGCO/Fendt flavoured AGI-4 receivers where you could “brick” them by trying to install Topcon firmware over the top.

.....

3.17.704 AGCO sounds like C3000 software, referring to an old thread:

I wish the OP luck finding the latest release. Does not seem to be easy outside the UK (if even everywhere there).

I’m still not clear if he has a “Topcon” screen or a C3000. Quite possibly the latter.

If so his only bet is to approach his dealer. FUSE hardly put anything online now and just refer you back to the dealer....

That's exactly it! It is a C3000 software. I have a version of 3.17.707, but for some reason the monitor does not want to accept this new version.

Are you loading it with "Topcon" firmware or "AGCO" firmware?
it's AGCO

When we bought the tractor with the C3000 screen, the factory support guy said he every now and then drops the software update file to customers even if he officially should not do it. Recently when the screen had the GPS week rollover issue, I asked for the file but no soul was willing to help even though the tractor was covered by a 5 year warranty (third year just started). The C3000 screen is updated just like the X30 with a USB stick. The owner could well do it if only the update file was made available. Quite unacceptable customer support.

Perhaps I'm just cynical (or reading more into things than is there), but I think some of it stems from the fact that the two companies have more or less gone their separate ways.

For example AGCO have stopped releasing new features now on VarioGuide fitted with Topcon receivers. You have to have the in-house steering controller (and a Trimble or NovAtel receiver) to not be left "stranded"

The satellite signal for this equipment is paid, it seems that the AGI-4 antenna only recognizes the satellite signal from the most recent monitor update. what I definitely can't do even with the new monitor update on a flash drive.

Mmmn yeah, Topcon released firmware updates earlier this year across most of their current or recent receivers and terminals (as did some other manufacturers) to correct for the so called “GPS Rollover Week Number” issue.

If it was pure Topcon then the minimum recommended receiver and terminal firmware versions, that are compliant with the update, are shown here:

We use RTK only with our C3000 and have only seen the GPS week number rollover issue. However there was one other forum member who was running Omnistar and couldn't get the signal without a SW update.
