They look far better, i wonder if we will all be getting a full for replacement under warranty? Got a bit sick of changing broken ones last year
Will my new drill come with these fitted?
If it doesn’t, complain
There is s new 3m in my yard on a truck that’s on route to a dealer right now, is that your drill maybe ?[/QUOTE
I hope not as I ordered a 4m.
Another one requiring the TWB blessing before it goes out to work!!If it doesn’t, complain

LOL you will after charge JD for your coffee bill!Martyn pee”s on them all for good luck ;-)
Yes i complained and a new set on routeDealer referred to it s a “fit as failed” update
Ie I think you have to complain to get a set vs them proactively offering them to you
Also been testing the new ones dealer fitted a new set whilst they were modding the fold rams.
The most commonly used opener in the world has had a factory upgrade wonder how long before they get over here?

on your own a complete nightmare, but two people no problemThey’d want to get Simon Chiles round with his quick fit fitters to change that many discs. My back cries when thinking of a 3m!
+1on your own a complete nightmare, but two people no problem
won't do gutler sales much good !
Do you think so? The Guttler wheel would still be a better design for its most important function- breaking the sidewall of the compacted side of the slot. I can see that the new JD closing wheel would outperform Yetter, Thompson and Hagney closing wheels in cultivated and lighter soils but they’d be better in true dd especially when seeding deeper. Of those three spading wheels I’d rate the Hagney’s best. The Guttler is still going to offer the best all round performance especially when it’s fitted with the added weights. For the sake of the extra cost, which is small in comparison to the overall cost of a drill, is it worth compromising drilling results?
