Useful looking maxxum

Yeah we are downgrading from fendt due to a horrendous quote ☹️
glad its not just me thinking of downgrading or leaving it another year.... tbh i think nh is going to win if i do change as they are sticking a 3 yr full warranty in the price and the others are just doing a yr 2 and 3 power train warranty.
jds around 88k and case 6k less give or take (not got the quotes on me)

Good god almighty that is... well... wow! that's the best part of 20k more for 5hp more, a new roof/lights, coloured spools, different steering wheel and 26cm longer....

Was thinking about adding as an additional tractor, but it's looking like it could be to part ex our older one, but going by that figure, the cost to change would be what a current one is to buy out right!

It's £14k more than we paid for our CVX which included omnistar autosteer! That is some hike in 2 years.

Jd said they would only do 3 warranty with a service plan and wanting 5k for it!!!!! Changing this tractor is getting bloody complicated

Could probably get a tidy 2nd hand 130 CVX for what it would take to change yours

I expect I could, we had a good deal on our new one as it was stock, just added what we wanted onto it, so no doubt could do the same again for a better deal again as they'd be wanting to get rid of old stock for better money to make room for all the un sold new ones :ROFLMAO:

When we got the T5 we were lucky that they had one in stock with the spec we wanted but only it had Electro Command and Cab suspension, so we hmmed and haaaaed and got it for only £500 more than a basic dual power one (y)

I knew they did 5 yrs but standard is 3yrs. Sort of thing to clinch a deal

After the first year it'll be an insurance type warranty, is it £100 excess per claim? Might be surprising how many of them you'll rack up over 4years.
The quotes for these new tractors seem to vary a lot. Having priced up tractors lately, the outgoing models of the NH and Case models were very competitively priced, but ended up going for MF, which although just a Dyna6 is a lot less than the £88k price you've been quoted for JD.
The MF was actually less money than it was 3 years ago when we last priced them up!!

How many hours has your fendt got on it? If it's been good to you why not keep it and maybe find a good second hand tractor to ease the workload? I'm guessing the price to change for new is going to be big money

Don't pay a thing on ours! Only on JD do we have to pay an excess. Quote for a full spec 6155 autopower is not a lot more then what your all quoting... for 4cyl NH is more and Fendt a lot more

Yes we are starting to think the same way 80k for a four cylinder tractor ffs. It's got over 6 k hours but it is our only tractor that will handle most of our kit so rely on it and the change price will never get less!!!!
