Using own feed with B and B contracts

Is there anybody who mixes their own ration with B and B pig contracts or is there anybody offering it? This is where I can see Increased value in the job, growing own rye for example.

Most operators will have fixed gap feeders for pellets only so they may need swapping over to a hopper feeder with adjustor

Ditto cone angle on most bulk bins

If you want the hassle and cash flow implications of doing that I’m sure that there are pig companies out there who would help you do that.

Already growing own feed and mixing own ration with cattle so it wouldn’t be much of a change
