Bloody good drills, have one here, can fair knock on with them in the right conditions, 2t of seed in the hopper goes a long way. Have done 100ac in a long day here on min till ground. Cheap now and running costs aren't as bad as you think
An very early machine with the pneumatic ground wheel (if its flat calibration is 15% out). Looks tidy but will be over 30 years old. Controll box ia simple. Check the adjustable curved plastic cups below the metering wheels for wear, wobble the discs to check the bearings, ChIn drive from land wheel not heavy enough.. The tyres would be my worry as they are 30 years old . A simple effective drill. That will need 90hp to pull it. Better with 100hp÷ and more on hills. It needs to be cheap. Good drills on my 3rd 300C over 27 years, The 3 drills will have covered 12000ha they need big money at about 4000ha.
Edit: the gear wheels inside those early gearbox can degrade over time but are replaceable it feels stiff then slips as you calibrate it.
