Well I've just bought one and I've no problem paying for it , I might buy another next year .
That's the wrong answer James, we're all supposed to be struggling.
Did you not get the Memo?

Plenty of 194 taken to 234s before 254 came out + add blue deletedMy mate bought a used one earlier in the year but is disappointed with the power compared with the older ones hence asking the question,he would like to hear from an someone that has actually had one chipped rather than the mapping man

@boyo is the man to ask about thisBut does anybody believe anything James posts?
"I was talking to the head of agco secret politics the other evening at the Paris hallucinogenic machinery show, and he told me" etc etc etc etc
Breaking in has that kind of an effect. Our Deere was very underpowered for the first 500h and then opened up, gaining 15hp on dyno. When the pistons and cylinders find their shape and the friction is "optimal". That's why you need to run new tractors on a wide rpm range, so the engine gets used to work on a wider rpm range.Of course it's possible, if it's written into the software. If it's correct or not, you'll just have to wait and see......
So does my carthat works on almost full rpm's all the time.

I thought he was waiting for the pilots license to come through so he could fly it homeWell, im still just speachless!
I guess thats why he didnt pick the sprayer up, I had the problem bit!
I do but I've no toll on it so what's your point .Have you a motorway going through your land
just wondering i know a lot of farmers that have had there lands bought for major roads and ended up getting one hundred thousand an acre and was wondering were you one of the lucky peopleI do but I've no toll on it so what's your point .
T174 is the first on the range with the 7.4l Sisu. As said, they can handle power very well, i'd personally give it 500-1000h to break the engine in properly before making any assumptions or calls on adding power.this might have no relation to the OP but iam presuming its a similar engine in this Valtra to my 6480?
6cyl 6.6lt or is it the 4pot?
either way could be the power boost not playing ball if it has such a thing?
mine was doing this & altho dealer says all is fine, its previously had a boost sensor replaced & then dyno'd all as it should be.
it was still under powered mainly at PTO revs on 1000 shaft. job IE Power Harrowing.
Added in a ChipBox job sorted.
The Boost shuts off when you drive tractor in 2nd gear for PH work.
Boost is on when your still & dyno on it.
Not with a chipbox installed it overrides the poxy thing & its a different tractor now.
No i'll effects been running it for 500hrs & you wouldnt know it was there.
tractor might only be 10-15hp more but it makes all the difference.
If this didnt work id remap it but to no more than 175hp
I want it to run for 10000hrs plus with no issues
Its currently at 4377hr & go's very well.
It was 14 yrs ago , the few pound I got is well gone , I never heard of any 100 k / acre jobs around here . Current market price at the time at agriculture use value .just wondering i know a lot of farmers that have had there lands bought for major roads and ended up getting one hundred thousand an acre and was wondering were you one of the lucky people
Isn't the 174e model supposed to be the low reving economy version?
It could be a simple as soot on a sensor, or as expensive as a buggered injector that's over fuelling (very unlikely)Can some one who knows Valtra please advise. I have a T154 2020 model with DPF and add blue. Dash light and alarm come on indicating manual burn required. Because the last manual burn was done less than 250 hrs ago it will not let me do a burn. If i restart the tractor the light goes out and the alarm stops. This has happened twice in last 50-100 hrs. I am concerned that if i continue i will block the DPF.
