Valtra t175 shuttle lever

Has anyone converted left hand reverser of a t175 back to old t174 style? Can it be done? New idea is hellish! Even more so when old lhr setup was perfect.

Instead of having a 4 position lever.
handbrake, neutral, forward and reverse it’s now a 2 position lever. Hand brake and out of hand brake.
out of hand brake position it acts like a switch, nudge forward for forward. Nudge back and it’s straight into reverse, to get neutral you need to push down towards handbrake! Not ideal when you operate one of each 🤔

Maybe time to replace the other one then 😜

Most makes of tractor are like this now . It's a sh**e idea !!!!!
It’s because forward/reverse can also be on the joystick or loader joystick. Wouldn’t work if other one was permanently in forward! Personally I hate them aswell as they can be flipping dangerous when you just automatically knock it back into neutral and let go of clutch……

If it's a vario it's kinda OK but anything with a gearbox or anything that moves at tickover is bloody dangerous when your not used to it.
