Variable rate connection

I am trying to find the best and cheapest way of connecting a Teejet 580g to a kuhn 40.2 fertiliser spreader with a Quantron A box for variable rate spreading. I`d like to do section control too but have been told I cannot do both with the Matrix. A cable to do VR is £900 from Teejet !
Is there an easier and cheaper option out there ?

Firstly, from our documentation only Matrix Pro GS boxes have the ability to do variable rate applictions.

Unlock required from TeeJet for Third Party Rate Control

Sorry no info on the cable, but you would also need a Kuhn Y cable for the Quantron A.

I would suggest ask your precision farming provider for their assistance.

Section control is possible with the Teejet Matrix 570, I haven’t heard of a 580. But be careful the cable needs to be ordered from Kuhn because the one from Teejet won’t allow you to do as many sections. Get in touch with your KUHN dealer, they should have a compatibility list.

570 gs pro is what I've got, left it now with kuhn as teejet are not coming back to me ! Thanks
