Veganism - controlled malnutrition?

I do not have a problem with people who choose to have a meat/dairy etc free diet. It is the cult 'Veganism' that irritates me.
Why does it irritate you though? There are all sorts of schools of thought on all sorts of things out there from sex and fidelity to cars, to education, to religion and so on.

You have to ask yourself why someone being a vegan irritates you. If you have a religious view, does someone with a different view irritate you? Why so?

Its not being vegan. It is the cult like mentality that some of them adopt, they ooze self-righteousness. More so than any religious person I have meet. In fact they were pretty quiet and humble about it.

Usually because there's no rational discussion with them, you're a cow raper and kill baby cows and thats that, if you reason with them, they either make something up, or as i usually find, a straight block

Like the remainers in the other threads, if you let these people get on with it, with their misinformation and fake news, they will control the narrative

The narrative is to usually send us back to the stone age where farms don't exist, pets don't exist and we all live as we did in mud huts.

These Antivaxxers are the same, and then the state has to take control of their kids because they're severely ill.

They leave these anti badger cullers who are in the vegan cult 'get on with it' and now what are they doing? ringing farms at midnight harassing them because they think they're morally right and justify their objectives by any means.

I have no problem with vegans if they just get on with it (although when they say "dairy isnt natural" I have to say taking "vitamin supplements isnt natural" they soon shut up).

The hypocrosy of it all is that they are against crulty and exploitation of animals yet as far as im aware all medicines that are used in the UK have been tested on animals.... so does that mean vegans don't take antibiotics or inhalers paracetamol??

The health benefits of testosterone are highly over-rated. Ask anyone who has foolishly taken supplementary testosterone without the guidance of a Doctor. It is also thought to be one of the reasons men age faster and die before women (on average).

Cholesterol is required because it is a constituent of cell membranes, so pretty important though.

Of course the human digestive system has adapted over time to adjust to a particular diet. The tendency to eat meat is shared a little with some of the ape family (chimpanzees will catch and eat small monkeys from time to time), and it goes hand in hand with a larger brain which allows tool making etc, which is what will catch you meat in the first place. You don't need much of a brain to hunt plants, and the high metabolic cost of a big brain is not ideal if you have a diet that is dilute in energy to begin with.

I do not agree with shooting trillions of pheasants, or shooting new born calves, or killing male chicks, you would think in time these would be legislated against in some way.
