It mentions Cambridge Council serving vegan food, for Remembrance Sunday Cambridge City Council provided a reception with a buffet for the veterans reperesentatives etc, half conventional half vegan, we all know which half went uneaten. The report afterwards instead of saying lets scrap this stupid idea instead recommended that further education as necessary. This is what we are dealing with.

The latest nonsense- do these people not go outside their urban sprawl and look at the pastoral landscape that makes their county so special?
Next time we are down I will collect some of the ragwort infesting the roads from Salisbury and give it to them as a main coarse

Don't get me started on ragworts! Whenever they come up on pages such as Plant Identification, it starts a vegan style war between the wicked farmers/horse owners who want them pulled and the caring caterpillar lovers who have a study that shows that ragworts are our friends and should be planted in pastures as native species.

Last Sunday we went for a walk from Lymington and my wife was asking what all the caterpillars on the ragwort was , I said it's a particular type of moth that lives on it, she said what did it live on when there was hardly any about, we had a picnic in a small field that is a "nature" reserve the notice on the style said it was due to be cut for hay , huge amount of the stuff all over the field and Criss crossed with small paths covered in dog sh!t, further on the route we had to walk up another reserve which the river runs through it's very boggy and nothing but stinging nettles, bind weed and brambles, even my non farming wife said what good is this for wildlife
