as per the title, our swinging brushes are getting tired and I wondered if anyone has knowledge of just a vertical rotating brush that doesn't swing ? with using chalk we don't need a brush to reach the tailhead. ive seen the spinder vertical and horizontal fixed brushes but only want a vertical option.

Just turn them off.

One of my guys is a split block with those brushes and we asked him to turn it off for the 6 weeks we're there. Went back 6 months later and he forgot to turn it back on! Cows looked absolutely fine.

Just turning them off is no use for chalking. I see cows positioning the brush on their tail head and wiggling to get a scratch, taking the paint with it. I'm sure I've seen a brush you could lock in the verticle but can't remember where.

Yes I have a cow care swinging brush no problems with RMS . Occasionally it will rub a bit off chalk but it's very obviously not heat activity when it does . Preg rate was over 30 last report we had so can't do much harm , in fact genus rep sells the sane brush to rms farms

What about these, if you want non motorised.

Do cows bother much with the non motorised versions? Once our cows figured the motor on ours had packed up they never bothered about the brush
