Vintage Record 942 Bolt Cutters

I have a set of Record 942, 42 inch bolt cutters that are huge and very heavy. I am stripping them down because the jaws weren't lining up vertically or horizontally.

There are nuts and bolts missing. Others are present but damaged/stripped. I am having a hard time removing some of them.

Does anyone know what metal the nuts and bolts would be made from? Possibly what size they are?

Also, think there is a screw missing where the two sets of jaws pivot? Not sure what it should look like, be made of or dimensions.

I'd like the restore these bolt cutters and hopefully that's possible without a lathe to make new parts.

The croppers look like standard 604's,
Contact Irwin.EU - the parent company & they will point you in the right direction of a parts stockist.
Pretty sure they are still manufactured

I have a pair of these, they are great. The jaws pivot on a small roller, might be possible to make one from a suitable sized bolt. The adjusting screws should work loose with a bit of heat/lube.

Wow, £115.00 for some bolts including VAT. Ouch! There's got to be another way to get suitable bolts... I think some of them have reverse threads. I either need a paid of identical used bolt cutters with ruined jaws to use the other parts as spares, I need someone who has spare bolts or I need to find someone locally who can make replacement bolts from the correct material.

Heat was the only thing I didn't try on them, I used 3-in-1 oil and GT85, which works great on everything except for one bolt which is stuck firm. Even in a very strong set of vice jaws I couldn't get it to budge, it crushed the metal but wouldn't allow any amount of turning. Weird thing is they are in good condition and there isn't any rust, so not sure why it won't move.

Still not been able to remove the bolt. Not sure what to do. Perhaps I will have to drill it out.

Assuming I can get it out, there's got to be a cheaper way to get bolts tat are the right size. I don't know what to look for/what kind of metal they need to be made of.
