Trimble Agriculture is holding its first ever virtual show dedicated to precision agriculture, bringing technical specialists to farmers’ living rooms.

The fully packed schedule offers something for everyone – whether they are new to precision farming or at the cutting edge. “We hope this will make up for the loss of traditional shows this year and offer the opportunity for farmers to speak to experts in the comfort of their home,” says Lee Clarke, regional sales representative UK & ROI at Trimble Agriculture.

The show will include breakout rooms based around five different topics; guidance and steering, ISOBUS - flow and application control, implement steering, water management and software and data management. Visitors will be able to drop in at any time to learn about these focus areas, with an opportunity to make individual appointments on a one-to-one basis, for any specific burning questions.

“Rather than just sitting and watching presentations, this will be a truly interactive event, with the feel of a live trade show and the opportunity to chat with other farmers and the best precision ag specialists in the UK and Ireland,” adds Mr Clarke.

The event, organised with four of Trimble’s UK and Ireland dealers - Vantage England & Wales, SoilEssentials, Mastenbroek and Vantage Ireland, means there will be plenty of experts on hand.

The show will take place on 10 December from 10:00 until 19:00. Those that register at https://trimblevirtual.com/ will be in with a chance to win a Trimble GFX-350 Display System Bundle, including a GFX-350 Display and NAV-500 Guidance Controller.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
