Wanky places to put a fecking filter

Well done CNH, not only is it impossible to get at with strap wrench's etc due to no space to turn it.
But the massive filter guard next to it needs 3 bloody bolts to hold it on and there's no fecking room to get to them either.
Bloody stupid bit of fuel tank is right in the way.

Well it was made worse by the fact the white filter required a two foot bar on my ratchet to encourage it to turn.
Then the rear filter in the alloy housing was so tight it removed the threaded bit from the tractor before giving up , trying to remove that resulted in the hex head shearing off the bottom.
Eventually got them apart and made a tool to refit said thread back into tractor.
Damn near all day to change 3 poxy filters.
Now drowning my sorrows with Cider.

you've not mentioned having oil all down your arms either o_O i find it a LOT easier to take the back wheel off when doing the backend filters on our pumas, made even easier with the wheel trolly and impact gun (y)
