Wanted - MF 6290 CCLS and Front Suspension

I'm on the look out for a genuine Massey Ferguson 6290 at moment.

It must have closed centre hydraulics, at least 3 spools and front suspension.

Hours not a major issue so long as it's tidy and not over priced.

Has anyone got anything suitable?

Thanks in advance

Here's one, I was after one myself years ago but ended up going for a 6400 series instead for the same money. Glad I did in the end. I have a 6265 and 6465 and the 6465 is a more comfortable place to spend the day but each to their own.

Have a Tier 3 6480 which does most of the work, the 6290 will be a full restoration job and only come out on good days.

Saw that 6290 but feel she's just a bit high priced for 11k hours.

Most from around here have already been shipped to Ireland for a makeover, seems to be the working restoration of choice over there at the moment hence the strong money being asked for them.

That's why I'd prefer to bring in an original one that hasn't been badly blown over with a spray gun and classed as fully restored 😂

6200 were a brilliant tractor, operator friendly and a useful tractor still today. Not many of the front suspension and CCLS ones out there now, most tend to be held on to.

They are absolutely and fully embedded within ‘The cult’

May well have to pay more than you would like to get one but they won’t lose it.

That's the reason it's the tractor I'm after, we need an additional tractor for occasional use and feel like a 6290 would be something that should hold it's value rather than being a depreciating asset
