Wanted south Devon cow calf outfits or heifers

Wanting to try some south Devons see how we get on with them, ideally outfits but would buy heifers to bull.

Yorkshire but willing to travel a bit.

These are to be run commercial so don't need to be pedigree

I don't think you would be disappointed - usually quite docile to work with.
Have had them for years in a closed herd then put Canadian AA on replacement heifers and now using Australian type SD back on AAxSD heifers.

One word of warning - horns can grow all sorts of ways unless dehorned or polled!

That's the main problem with the breed "Devon"

was on the south devon website a couple of days ago and there was a listing for 30 cows with calves and 12 bulling heifers in kent, I don't know how long they've been for sale. still a bit of a way to travel. There are plenty of herds leicester northwards.
