Water filter suggestions for borehole

Got a borehole which has been in about 8 years and we have had the water tested on a yearly basis. Which have all come back saying the majority of levels are within the normal range. But the water pipes to the troughs get silted up with a brown film guessing iron and we get build up in the troughs. Any suggestions what the cause can be and what sort of filter we should try. (Company which we had water tested didn’t advise that we need to put a filter in) and if it will impact the cows in any way. E.g. high scc
