Waterproof jacket recommendation

Betacraft is a lot cheaper than kaiwawa both designed in new Zealand and made in China.
Identical tags on the clothing so Id hazard a guess made in same factory.
I ordered a jacket forest through the nz website last Saturday and saved 15 quid on the price from a British store,
The jacket was here yesterday

I tried using the NZ website but it doesn’t seem to work! Everytime I click on something it just directs me back to the main page! Annoying as I think they have a better range in NZ!

Got the kaiwaka winter storm jacket and bib and brace set. Impressed so far with the braces, downside is a bit of a faff taking them on and off most probably should have got the trousers instead. The coat only came on Friday so i havent had a chance to use it in anger yet however I was wearing it down the beach today and was brilliant and a great hood. The cuffs do seem quite tight. I tried the large coat it was far too big on me, the small I couldn't get me arms down. I have gone for the medium it is quite snug im approx 73kg and 5'10".

Skogstad from Norway is good quality stuff, made in the town just along the fjord from where I was based.
I got my wife and 2 daughters jackets and they are excellent

Don’t undo the bib n brace. Just pop your arms out and roll them down. No faff with reattaching the braces, and just about as quick as trousers. A lot better in my opinion, as you don’t spend half the day hoiking them up all the time !!
