Well I’ve panic bought and stocked up with two sets of everything we need
I’d rather have the wearing metal in the workshop ready for when we need it

got an email from APM yesterday saying supply could be disrupted due to the Coronavirus
Worth thinking about your own needs ahead of time

Just in time stocking. Retailers hold very little stock these days & rely on couriers bringing it out quickly. It's cash tied up in steel that can sit there for a long time.

Luckily I've got a new set of legs, A shares and harrows for my direct drill here already. The odd subsoiler point used up but that's about it these days. To think we used to wear out a set of carbide points in a couple of days when we were ploughing & subsoiling.

The JIT network will feel some pain, one of it`s structural weaknesses. You can also add in "up to a fifth of folk being off work" if it hits hard in the UK, from van drivers to consultants. So your stuff from wherever will face some challenging journeys.
