@Bungundarra David That same stainless steel bar broke on my nephews Massey baler whilst baling straw a few weeks ago.
We did lots of swearing trying to get it out from behind the net feeding rollers, we slackened off the bolts which hold the complete netting system in place to give us a few more mm of space to get the broken scraper bar out. We were frightened to cut it for fear of setting the baler on fire! Eventually with just brute strength we managed to get it out.
The baler has baled more than 1200 bales problem free since then without the scraper fitted!! We will have a bash at fitting a new bar during the winter, but not looking forward to that task.
