Welger RP12 Bearings

Hi Guys
I know theres varios threads about rp12 bearings but none have really seemed to help
im having problems getting the roller apart to change the bearing on the last roller on the tailgate
has anyone got any pointers

It's on a cam , so you have to hit it to knock it off , pretty sure it's anti clockwise , but it's obviously the opposite way it runs .

Take the circlip off first.

There's no circlip on this one, it had a bolt is there a particular knack to hitting it off?

Lump hammer and blunt chisel , good whack will loosen it

That's what I've been trying, maybe I'll hit it harder, just paranoid about damaging the sprocket

I can't honestly remember which direction , but it needs a good whack , logic would suggest you hit in the opposite direction of travel , you won't break it , just don't hit the teeth.

nock on further and clean the shaft

not got a baler like this,........ any grub screws ?

Finally got the sprocket off any pointers from here on

Take the shields off both sides .

Is bearing on shaft or in the sprocket .

Right remember now , take the bearing shield off and the 2 pins on t'other side of the baler , the roller will then come out

Cheers chaps got the roller out the bearing on the drive end is non existent and I'm now puzzled about getting the bearing off/out of the other end
