For the roller ?Mine does this occasionally but it's not causing any issues usually the first bale of the day in silage.
Is the drive belt tight enough ?
Wrapped steel roller with net as well last time aroundHang on which net system is it ? The old type that welger had for years or the new one that's been out for a couple of years now ?
Old original type. Try setting the net feed time up a bit in the control box .Wrapped steel roller with net as well last time around
Thanks a lot, all helpful stuff. Where do these want adjusting toOld original type. Try setting the net feed time up a bit in the control box .
Is the gap behind the steel roller reasonably clean if it's totally packed up with crap it can cause issues
As for wrapping up on the steel roller that seems to just happen occasionally be careful not to scratch the roller when cutting it off or it'll become a frequent thing
Up the net clutch time I think mine is about double what yours is at so it drives it for longer so the baler can get hold of it and then it pulls it faster than the net clutch is driving it anywayThanks a lot, all helpful stuff. Where do these want adjusting to
Sorry I’m a bit green to balers as always had contractors until we bought this. A few mates given me bits of advice but they haven’t had this issue. Used it on a bit of straw and had a bit of bother like this but not where it wouldn’t complete the cycle until todayUp the net clutch time I think mine is about double what yours is at so it drives it for longer so the baler can get hold of it and then it pulls it faster than the net clutch is driving it anyway
Do you not want a warning beep? The top one I have mine at a few cm from full size

It had roll on from last year and then swapped it today when I was having issuesI'd set the top one at say 6cm which will beep once 6cm before full size then you get chance to stop before the net starts
Net delay I run mine at 1 second and net roller delay at 0 but that's just to get everything as fast as possible.
Are you using the same net as usual?
They're fine They're pulled right up . Try loosening off the net brake it's a very fine line between too tight and too slackTension on the springs
Should the roller be fairly stiff to turn when you feed the net wrap manually on a new roll etcThey're fine They're pulled right up . Try loosening off the net brake it's a very fine line between too tight and too slack
Yeah they're pretty tightShould the roller be fairly stiff to turn when you feed the net wrap manually on a new roll etc
Yeah I tried the net brake and it seemed about rightNet brake wants set so when you have the R clip in the brake bar for putting a roll in when you spin the roll by hand the brake pads just move but not grip the disk if that makes sense
