My wife is after some new wellies for milking. Milking is around 5 1/2 hours so need to be lightweight and steel toe cap. She currently has these

These weigh less than a kg each but seem to be out of stock in her size 6.

Any recommendations would be helpful

Build a bigger parlour but Dunlop purefoot with a good insole

I need a wife like that, has she got a sister? ???

I have these. They have zippo ankle support compared to my Bekina Steplites and are less comfortable IMO. Bought into the Dunlop propaganda and regret it.
OTOH I bought some Bekinas and they were the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever worn, after 10 days I was hobbling with sore feet, gave up and went back to Dunlop’s.

My search for the perfect welly is ongoing, currently in skellerup Quattros and not convinced, they’re cumbersome and tight on the toes, maybe a size bigger than usual would help with the latter .

if an abreast parlour, the rubber motorcycle ones, with added strength on top, saves a lot of swearing, if a cow steps on your toes. But 5 1/2 hours, very long time.

Aigle parcour iso, keep them washed off and will last for years.

If you need steel toe caps for milking then you need to change the set up, unless it’s a abreast, can’t imagine a cow slipping off a step onto your toe being much fun.

I might have imagined it but can you not buy them in wider sizes??

I've had Skellerup Quattro recently & their great when it's cold but now they're too hot.

How are Bekina Steplite in hot weather ? Or is there a better Summer welly ?

Previously I always had Purofort + / Purofort extra

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
