Police are saying there were 3000 people. Would be a bit ironic if the 26 delayed buses were stuck behind the feckin tractors š«£
No queWas that the queue for Greggs? Always busy in there, its those lovely vegan sausage rolls - did you all try one, really nice
Speaker had casting vote allegedly??Look like Conservatives motion with tb and sfw failed just now too???
Think Alps and similiar upland areas in Europe. Part time farmers, even where there are some subs....How many Welsh family farms derive all their income from solely farming? Most have the wife going out to work, holiday lets, son's driving for agricultural contractors etc , etc. probably end up with more hobby farmers.
Same as, same as.Speaker had casting vote allegedly??
Remember trail riding in Mid Wales in the late 80s, and popped out in a little encampment of hippy travellers. The swaying leaves of their cannabis crop was 100m up the trail....1 fully grown cannabis plant is worth Ā£1000 so i am told
The Guardian are a right bunch of c***s!Just read an article in the Guardian about the event, seems to be taking a completely different take on the event I went to. I think we need the unions to issue better press releases to journalists, as I feel we still aren't getting our message across.
What did he say?GB News has just had an interview with a farmer about the protest. Sorry but he did little to advance our cause.
She certainly was the least well receivedOnly booing I heard was when Abi Reader said how we will all change to reach net zero. Not what most farm's priority is at the moment
Of course you could try not eating at all ,do let us know the result. Was that the queue for Greggs? Always busy in there, its those lovely vegan sausage rolls - did you all try one, really nice

I heard the Jeremy vine show and I'm sorry but one or two of the
farmers came across very poor.I wanted to grab the phone and tell
that misinformed anti sheep/beef caller that the 50% imported animal
feed ,soya she was referring to was going to mainly intensive chicken and
pork not grazed animals on the hills.
Also that one farmer saying she would potentially lose 60 acres to trees worth
Ā£900k isn't particularly helpful convincing the Welsh labour voters that farmers
need their support.
I too thought the bit where the lady sheep farmer said that her land would be devalued by Ā£900k wasnāt going to get much sympathy from the general public. It was a bit unfortunate because she was otherwise doing quite a good job of representing the industry.
The woman who said that Welsh farmers should give up rearing beef and sheep and concentrate on potatoes really needed pulling up a bit more as it would have been easy to pick holes in all her comments.
Just a formality nothing more no names were taken or reg numbers,
