Have seen a west 1150 advertised about 80miles away, would it be to heavy to put on a 14ft ifor flatbed? By the way i will be avoiding the motorway. Coming back via A roads and back roads to avoid any vosa checkpoints

Is the worst advice given on tff

Oh come on, where's your sense of adventure?

You don't give your location, but if in or near the SW, I can recommend Bob Davies transport of Taunton.
They brought a west spreader into Cornwall, from Staffs a couple of years ago, for us.

I wouldn't risk weight etc. or pulling the guts out of your towing vehicle for a couple of ££s.

Dull for multiple reasons. Nonetheless I am impressed it made it up that slope and also stopped on what looked like a gentle slop down, what with just the weight of the trailer behind, let alone the grass.

I was impressed it didn't twist it's crankshaft in half but yes, dull. Next I want to see a non-taxed, non-insured Subaru forester pull a triaxle Ifor with a 7.5 tonne midi digger on the top of it. Shall we add some slalom poles to make it more exciting?
