Mark brock has a nice 75 cat , in your money
Are these basically a Steyr? How reliable is their CVX in something knocking on for 20 years old with plenty of hours on it?
Gillilands had them..
She's still there! Seen her on road brush duties today when they were at willow..
Its a very reliable tractor, yes it is a Steyr , sisu engine zf rear end (carraro front axle that does need to be looked after ! )Separate gearbox hyd oils . stepper motor in gearbox can be trouble but not a huge job as gearbox comes out the side . These tractors were way ahead of there time when they came out and are still a nice drive. The ZF smatic gearbox is still being used by DeutzAre these basically a Steyr? Why not ?
A 6290 or even a 6480 dynashift will certainly hold their money

Not sure but i think that is there own boxIs that gearbox related to the C Matic in Claas Axion?
Yes I loved driving the 8550 that we had, I’d think you’ll struggle to find a 8950? Don’t often see them for saleOne I’m on the look out for at the moment...Valtra 8950. Monster of a tractor with a real engine but modern enough to be an enjoyable day at the wheel..?
Sadly true. I’ve been looking for years and you hardly see them over here more Eastern Block countries that seem to have them and they’ve either been flogged to death or want 40K for them. As much as I want one, that’s a little steep for nowYes I loved driving the 8550 that we had, I’d think you’ll struggle to find a 8950? Don’t often see them for sale
